So, one day I had the brilliant idea of taking my wife's prize bycycle- the glittery green one she bought with her highschool graduation money- off a jump. To make a short story even shorter, I jacked it up. The wheels were so bent that I couldn't ride it home and she had to come pick me up. Trust me, she wasn't happy. She decided to take it back to Treads, where she bought it in the first place, to see what they could do. She convinced me that since I messed it up, I "owed" the bike a tuneup, which included trueing the wheels. They had it done in just a day or two, and it was in perfect running order again when we picked it up. Not bad for what we paid- which was significantly less than the prices we scoped for the same work at REI.
