Melvin Miller Park is located on the northeast side of town. The park offers a city pool open daily during the summer, six tennis courts, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, a fishing and geese and duck pond, and basketball courts. It also has playgrounds for the kids in two separate locations, including slides and swings. Shelter houses are available for picnics and reunions. Concerts are held on the wooden stage during the summer.
