Mall of America is both delightful and dreadful. Finding parking anywhere nearby in the winter months, particularly during the holiday season, is a nightmare. I recommend weekdays, if at all possible, as well as later evenings during the week. The crowds do thin out. That said, the hassle of its size is sometimes worth it, given the selection of stores and restaurants. During the highest heat of summer, and the most frigid of winter days, it is an enjoyable place to walk and get some exercise despite inclement weather.
