Hansen's to me is hands-down the best tasting snowball in the city. Family operated for years, this incredible snowball joint is only sporadically open during summer months, but if you manage to come while it is open for business, you'll be in a for a treat. The ice seems almost as soft as italian ice, and flavors are simply amazing, although the options are not as extensive as Plum St. and other stands. The best place in New Orleans for that beloved summer dessert.
