This is my favorite restaurant in my neighborhood- located in Ball Square in Somerville. A 10 minute walk from Davis Square (on the Red Line). They have a wide variety of food, everything is affordable. Everything is home made, which is great...but sometimes they run out of the specials for the day. They have delivery, carry-out or you can eat there. It is definitely the best if you get home from work and don't feel like cooking, but want good food. Urban Gourmet has awesome meatball sandwiches. There chicken is my favorite. Definitely give it a try!!
