I have had several procedures performed at Beaumont Hospital-Royal Oak. Their doctors and staff have been absolutely trustworthy and caring. I felt like I was in really good hands. I wouldn't want to have surgery anywhere else. The complex is huge so if you don't want to get lost you'd better ask for explicit directions. The only negative experience I had was when my daughter was born, the c-section went smoothly and my treatment was great but the bathroom in my room was pretty gross. It was just very worn and didn't feel terribly clean. I know that they have built a whole new maternity ward since then and I'm sure that situation has been remedied. My daughter spent several days in their special care nursery and the staff was so kind about reassuring and comforting a worried new mother. I would definitely have my next child with them.
