I wandered into Lawrance one day after a shopping trip to Whole Foods (Lawrence is across the street). They had a sale sign and I was in the market for a new couch.
The furniture collection is an eclectic mix. A lot of it simply is not my style -- way too over the top or showy for me (very shiny laquered armoires, lots of glass and chrome tables, very expensive shiny leather couches). I am more of a simple, clean lines kind of girl. But there were several pieces that I did like here, including a sectional available in a microfiber.
The staff here is a little on the cheesy salesperson side -- by that I mean they can be a little fake and pushy. It turned out the sectional I was interested in had an order fulfillment time of over four months (!) and I did not think I could survive without a couch that long. Most of the pieces here are in sets, and there aren't a lot of the accessories (blankets, pillows, candles etc) that you find in a lot of furniture stores.
They do have sales here from time to time, and some of them have some good deals. You have to arrive first thing in the morning of the sale though because they are often swiped up within minutes.
