My husband and I stumbled upon Blue Ribbon BBQ about three years ago when we moved to the area. The smell of fresh, smoked, bar-b-qued pork and chicken drifted for blocks. After discovering the endpoint of the tasty air, we decided to give it a go. Since then, we have taken every friend and family member that has visited us to this restaurant. And each time, we usually get a call within a week or two asking us to ship them some of that great BBQ. For a BBQ joint, they have a variety of meats, side dishes and desserts. My particular favorite is the pulled pork sandwich served with their baked beans and coleslaw. When I am feeling particularly famished, I will finish off the meal with one of their delish Congo bars. Anyone with eyes bigger than their stomach should try the sandwiches before the platters. The sandwiches give you more than enough of that BBQ pulled meat goodness. The platters are almost too much.
