I recently moved away from Champaign, and Murphy's is definitely the only place that I miss. Stay away if you are not into the college scene. They have a nice selection of beer on tap and they usually have good drink specials too. The food is pretty typical pub fare, but it's cheap and tasty. The crowd here is usually friendly, and the large tables are great if you come with a big group. I have many fond memories of this place.
