The Downtowner has the BEST sandwiches and cakes this side of the Atlantic! Sandwiches are served hot with an olive oil/parmesan cheese crust on the top. Cakes are made from scratch daily and the Hummingbird cake is out of this world. The potato soup is a must have. With new owners, they're now open for dinner on Thursday and Friday. Jimmy is the best waiter and will take great care of you.
