Le Giverny Bistro is located inside of the Emory Inn on Clifton Road. Whenever I travel, I make it a point to never eat at the hotel, always figuring that the food is subpar and the prices inflated. And yet when I'm home, one of my favorite places to eat is this unpretentious bistro inside of a hotel. The restaurant used to be located in a strip mall nearby, so maybe they figured this location was a step up. It's in a nice room with high ceilings. For dinner, guests look pretty casual. But oddly enough, during lunch a lot of professionals from Emory come here wearing business suits. Nevertheless, whatever you wear the staff is extremely kind and helpful and the food is as good as any French food in the city, at really reasonable costs. The fish dishes, in particular, have never disappointed. And I had a salad with fried brie that was a favorite.
