That Pottery Place is a paint-your-own-pottery studio. It's a great place to take kids while you're in the Decatur Square area. That Pottery Place has a large variety of unfinished pottery pieces for sale, reasonably priced from $4 to $20 or so. You can buy bowls or cups or plates. Once you're set up with your pottery, you then sit down at one of the tables to paint a glaze design on your pottery. Use of brushes and glazes is free, but you pay for studio time a few dollars an hour per person. When you're done painting, you leave your pottery to be fired and return in a week for the finished product. It's a lot of fun and the staff are super nice.
