A walmart supercenter opened about a year ago not too far from where I live. My boyfriend and I went to it one night when we needed something and to check it out. It only goes to show that Super Walmarts are too big!
Compared to regular walmart stores it feels like a warehouse. It has more the air of shopping in a discount club (like BJs or Sams) rather than a normal walmart. Its so big that is was difficult to find things in it, despite the department signs.
Unimpressed I hadnt gone back untill last weekend when i was looking for something our regular walmart didnt have. After locating what I wanted (and finding it on the top shelf where noone can reach) I couldnt find an associate in that department, or any of the ones in reasonable distance. It took a half hour to get someone to go find help then i had to wait another 15 minutes!
After that experience I wont be rushing back there. At least our regular walmart always has an associate in each department!
