About 15 miles away from the East Side of Providence, the Toy Shop is well worth the trip. It is really on of the best, friendliest toy stores I have ever been to. The is a great collection of interesting items, including an incredible selection of Playmobile. Also, there is a wide variety of small items from gliders and ruber band powered airplanes, tiny decks of cards and other five-and-dime like object, including a great selection of penny candy. The staff is friendly and encourages questions and play, and the store is worth a visit even if you don’t end up buying anything.
