This is one of the great places to go in St Paul. The Science Museum moved into a larger building a few years ago and it was worth it! I've always been a big fan of the dinosaur exhibit. They have lots of bones in the basement and i'm always wowed when i go down there.
Another highlight is the IMAX screen. It's one of the few screens that can convert itself to an Omnitheater set up for certain movies. They show some great science films that are always worth seeing.
