.... because if you do, you will go home a poorer person. If you're into kitchen supplies (and what cook isn't, to some degree) then you will find at least a dozen things in here that make you think, "now *that* is something I could really use/upgrade to". Now, there's nothing wrong with that, because it's usually true. The problem comes in with the fact that everything in Sur La Table is high quality, which, with kitchen supplies, usually means high price.
That's not always true - there are, for instance, some very handy nylon pan scrappers that are less than a buck, and one of the best peelers known to man can be aquired here for $5.... but if you want to pay rent, stay away from most everything else. It just might be too tempting.
