If you never intend to eat at one of the Margaritaville restaurants, you should still visit the website. If you click on the “Radio Margaritaville” icon you can enjoy the sounds of the café on Windows Media while you browse. I have been to both the original Key West location, as well as the Orlando café. My husband is a huge Jimmy Buffet fan, and this is his favorite restaurant of all time.
The atmosphere is extremely casual. My husband being the traditional fan always has to have his “Cheeseburger in Paradise” ($8.95) and says it is the best burger in the country. I’m a bit more adventurous. I have tried the Caribbean Club made with chicken, bacon and avocado mayo ($7.95) or the fish of the day. When in Orlando, I love to get the “Cuban Meatloaf Survival” sandwich. It is homemade meatloaf pressed on Cuban bread with mustard and pickles. It is so much better than it sounds. You must treat yourself to a famous margarita ($6.25) because you know “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere.”
