This is one of my favorite places in Effingham. As an avid reader, I go through books very quickly, as do the others in my house. A quick trip to The Book Depot, and you can trade in your books for store credit that applies to books already priced at half off retail. When you purchase books, you pay half with a store credit and half with cash or check. In other words, those $7 paperbacks end up costing about $1.75 each. The selection changes daily, and is always pretty current with what is available new in the bookstores.
