This PIttsburgh institution is as beautiful as everyone says. As you walk through, there is room after room of rare, beautiful, and interesting plants and flowers. Each room is well-designed with a pretty walkway, and well-marked specimens. Especially beautiful is the entranceway, newly added to the conservatory in 2005. Admission is free with a student ID. In the spring and summer, there is also a beautiful outdoor garden. Overall, a great place to spend the afternoon. Close to CMU and Pitt's campuses.
