This neighborhood bar in the heart of Squirrel Hill is a good place to go for a drink with friends. They have a fairly extensive selection of bottled beer, but prices can sometimes be high for a pint. Silky’s lacks atmosphere (strange lighting, vinyl-covered booth seats) and sometimes attracts even stranger customers, but on weekend nights, it’s usually filled with attractive 20-somethings looking for a drink close to home.
