Seven is a very nice salon, if you are ok with spending a little more than average for your stylings. It is a small spot on 7th avenue, across the street from the movie theater. It is a personal, stylish (both by hair and attitude) feeling space with about twelve chairs lining the walls. The hair dressers are not allowed to wear anything but black unless it's summer time, when they can throw white in their mix.
I have had my hair done there several times, and was satisfied with each experience. I have had both cuts and color done, and with each they offer personal advice - if you ask for it. They do not inject their ideas if they are not wanted. Nor are they pushy about selling their products (although the times I have given in it has been well worth it), and even if their services are more pricey than other local salons, I like the place.
