Sure, most people go the UW Bookstore to buy textbooks, but it’s worth the trip for other things as well.
When I was looking for work, for instance, I took advantage of their selection and decent prices on fine papers for resumes (DO NOT BUY THIS TYPE OF STUFF AT KINKNO’S!)
They also have frequent sales on fiction and non-fiction books, and they have a great selection of $2 classic paperbacks on the third level.
It’s also a great place to find out what’s going on in the U-district, with readings, lectures and other events posted on the big calendars around the store.
