Loie, a vaguely French-themed bar, is a popular hangout near Rittenhouse Square for the young professional crowd. On weekends, a DJ spins top 40 and 80s music in the bar and people dance in the small back dance floor. There are also two pool tables in the back. It is fairly upscale and popular on the weekends with prices that are neither cheap nor expensive. It can be crowded occasionally but unlike other places that offer dancing (the dance floor is very small but adequate) it never charges cover. It also appears to be a popular place for singles to meet and mingle.
