Remember that scene from Wayne's World where Wayne and Garth sit on the hood of their car as a commercial airliner flies just over their heads? Recreate your own version of that scene at Gravelly Point, a public park off of the GW parkway on the Virginia side of the Potomac River. With plenty of parking, a nice breeze constantly blowing off the river, and easy access by bike path as well, it's the perfect place for a picnic lunch and a totally unique DC experience.
