When I really want quality, fresh fish, I go to M. Slavin & Sons. They are more expensive than supermarkets, but the difference in quality is noticeable and well worth the price, especially on less common fish varities. They have a great selection and will happily do some of the prep work for you (skin, steam...). Check the Washington Post Food Section on Wednesdays for occasional coupons.
