One of the last non-chain record stores in the area, The Record Store has been in Howell since 1989 and the owner will bend over backwards to fill your special requests. The prices are reasonable, not as cheap as a big-box retailer, but not bust-out retail either. The reason to buy here and avoid the bigger retailers is the staff is knowledgable and you can play "Name that Tune" with them and they'll find what you're looking for. A great selection and great service -- what more can you ask for?
