You will see long lines here, especially during the weekend evenings in the summer, but to be honest, I don't really think Ted Drewes custard is any better than some of the other custard places in St. Louis. And given that it's usually a huge hassle to get there (limited parking), and that the lines are really long, I don't think it's worth it.
If you are in the area and want custard, then stop here, but otherwise, don't go out of your way and go to your nearest custard stand.
Or better yet, just go get regular ice cream!
