The Alabama Theater is a landmark of Birmingham that has been consistently restored to keep it's old time appeal. While it hosts numerous events including concerts, the theater is known for showing movies. The theater is an enjoyable experience for the whole family. The kids will love the sing-a-long intro to each movie. The owner of the theater plays the old fashion organ as the lyrics to the song play on the screen and as everyone sings along. The movies they show usually are classic movies, but they will occasionally show current movies as well.
