We used Waggin West Kennels a few times while we lived in Yuma. Waggin West does have some advantages over some of the other kennels but there are a lot of disadvantages, as well.
I found that the staff were not very patient with my dogs. I would definitely not say that the dogs were mistreated, they were just not handled in the manner I prefer. The staff didn't seem to connect with the animals. It also seemed as though once the dogs were put into their kennel, they didn't get a lot of one-on-one attention, aside from feedings.
That being said, there were several kennel spaces available, so it was usually easy to get a space. The kennels seemed to be cleaned on a regular basis.
