It's hard to find good Italian food in the Williamsburg area. Io is on Kent St., which runs right along the water. On an early dinner trip about 5 months ago, we stopped by to try it out. It was rather nice to be the only people in the restaurant.
The good parts- decent italian food (though you may as well go to Bamonte's), outdoor seating. Pool table.
The bad parts- outdoor seating gives a view into about 8 apartments, the food isn't as good as the place looks.
