River Bend Golf & Country Club is the biggest little country club in the north state. They can be anywhere between elegant to casual, and of course do weddings, showers, special events, dinners, conferences, and luncheons. Try a round of gold, with the professionals, or just rent a cart, and go out by yourself. The course is a bit easier than I am used to, but it's great practice at competative prices. The greens are just that, extrememely green, with little throughfare, and a slight downslope.
