Their mission: “is to educate children and adults about the wonders and beauty of the Long Island Sound and its watershed.” For kids that means educational programming at local schools, and camps during both school vacation and in the summer. Kids, especially those hard to entice older elementary and middle schoolers, typically have enjoyable experiences attending SoundWaters.
The SoundWaters schooner offers adults in the community the opportunity to participate in 2 1/2-hour daytime ecology sails and evening sunset sails.
