The Bead Gallery is actually one of my mother's favorite places to visit. They have hundreds of thousands of beads from all over the world..small glass beads, crystal beads, colorful plastic beads, hand-carved wooden beads...you name it. They offer jewelry/craft classes for amateurs, and they even make jewelry for you if you pick out which beads you want and how you want it to look. the only downside is the pricing...i usually go in there for the crystal beads, and they can be almost a dollar a piece. It's not any cheaper to make your own necklace, basically. but it's a really neat place to take your out-of-towners, or as a gift for your artsy friend/family member.
