We Love Disney!! - Review by Jill R | Walt Disney World

Walt Disney World

We Love Disney!! 3/23/2006

How to write a review for Walt Disney World?? It's almost impossible to put into words. There's literally something for everyone--from the smallest child to the most sophisticated world traveler. From Mickey Mouse to elegant fine dining, you'll find it all at Walt Disney World. The Magic Kingdom is, of course, where it all began. This park is a fantasy world with fun for the whole family. Must sees on your first visit--"it's a small world", Space Mountain, The Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, Peter Pan's Flight, and the "Wishes" fireworks show. Epcot is my favorite park--especially during the Food and Wine Festival in the fall or at Christmastime (don't miss the Candlelight Processional). I love to travel around the world, trying different food and wine, shopping for exotic gifts and enjoying the sights and sounds of different languages and cultures. Our family also enjoys The Land Pavilion and Soarin', The Living Seas, Spaceship Earth and Test Track. Epcot is also fantastic for New Year's Eve. Animal Kingdom is a good park--especially if you like animals. As they say, "its not a zoo" though and has some great rides for everyone. MGM Studios is great and our kids really love it for the Stunt Show and Playhouse Disney. We love it for the Tower of Terror and Rock n Roller coaster. The food choices seem to be limited here. Fantasmic is scary for the little ones. Of course, a short review cannot possibly cover the all there is to see and do in the Disney parks much less the many other features of the water parks, Downtown Disney, resorts, outdoor activities, etc. We think that Disney provides a great, clean, wholesome atmosphere for our family. We also enjoy the excellent dining experiences (make reservations well in advance) and special events going on continually throughout the year. more
