Kibby's has been serving the Arbutus area locals for about 70 years, with an interesting start and a still delicious menu, a definite must stop in if you're in the area. Right across from St. Agnes hospital on Wilkens Ave, Kibby's has both a seated restaurant and a bar/lounge.
You'll be greeted by a "mom-like" waitress and she'll bring you an assortment of crackers with a cup of port wine cheddar cheese spread. Something to snack on while you browse the menu (and great to keep the kids busy).
The food is good, the entrees are reasonably priced, and you leave with a full belly (and in our case, a box with enough for tomorrow!)
