Jasper's is located inside a shopping center in Greenbelt MD. It's a place that the locals know about, but not a big draw for those who are just seeing it for the first time.
The menu choices are okay; the menu itself is strangely reminiscent of the Cheesecake Factory's.
The crab cake sandwich is good, the burgers are good, other sandwiches are good; the dinner entrées are hit and miss though, and really varies by chef.
The service is very spotty: some servers are great, others are never around. On several occasions, unhappy patrons were witnessed complaining to a usually out-of-it manager.
The Sunday Brunch is usually good -- lots of choices and usually not too crowded.
The real reason Jasper's is popular is the Happy Hour: cheap drinks, 1/2 price appetizers, and more single people than you'll know what to do with.
