I agree, the thought of really crisp, grease on the top, cracking the slice so that the grease can run out the back. The mozzarella so hot it can burn you.
Great memories. The most reasonable fascimile We've found is that you get Pagliacci's cheese pizza, take it home, crank the oven to 400 degrees and put it in there. Gets the crust better really firm. Still not greasey enough though :_)
