This place is in the heart of Seattle's U Village and I can recommend working it into your shopping afternoon if you're thinking about a hair cut. Tucked inside one of the smaller alleys in the mall, Headlines has an elegant entrance and gives great cuts, although I had my doubts once I was seated and realized none of the 3 stylists I could see had particularly stylish hair. I considered walking out with wet hair, but I’m glad I was too chicken to do it because my haircut turned out great. A bit different from what I asked for but the stylist gave it her own twist that really fit me. I forget the exact price, but it was in the neighborhood of $40, at par with other good salons.
