Donuts what a great way to start the day. Shipley's is open early so I can always stop in before work.
A hot and fresh kolachie or pastry with a cup of hot chocolate, coffee, cola, milk, or juice is so nice to sit down with while reading the morning paper.
Quick and friendly service is a top priority here.
If you are undecided on what to order don't fret. The cashier will gladly tell you what each one consists of and will not rush you.
If you don't like reading the paper and feel like some conversation, that is not a problem either. David (the owner) is usually on hand and loves to carry on a conversation.
Not to worry if you don't want to talk, David will just go back to making some more donuts.
