Okemo has always been a fun place to go skiing. The snow is always outstanding, and the terrain varied. I have never been bored while skiing there. Starting off your day, or returning to the lodge can be frustrating. The only way out the base area is by a quad chairlift. (Sometimes two are running) So everyone, including all the beginners need to get on this chair. That can take a while. Once you make your way to the other parts of the mountain, the crowds will greatly thin out and make your day much more enjoyable. They keep expanding the ski area, but without detracting from the fun I get by going there,
