Considering the prices of other local camping parks the Ottumwa Camping park is a bit on the expensive side. There are no trails or other recreational activities like at most parks but the campground is home to several annual events. The Ottumwa Pro Balloon Races are held every June and the city puts on a fireworks display at the park every fourth of july.
