MacArthur Center is probably the most upscale shopping mall in the Hampton Roads area. It plays host to the area's only Nordstrom, Chico's, White House Black Market and Coach stores, along with other higher end shops. The food court is excellent and features places such as The Cheesecake Factory, while the MacArthur movie theater is one of the largest in Norfolk. Although you have to pay to park in the parking garage, the prices are reasonable. Customer service is friendly and helpful if you need assistance, although lines are often long during the holiday season. MacArthur Center is the one place I head to when I'm in the mood to buy something but I'm not quite sure what - it's a shopper's paradise!
