Tyler's used to be a decent place to hang out after work with friends for food or drinks, but it's changed. Although I've been served by fine waitresses there, the newer staff people are too often short-patiented or outright rude. Also, one of the bartenders -- a ponytailed fellow -- spends too much time spouting his political and social views and not enough time acting professionally. The place is definitely on a downhill trajectory, which is too bad given its past reputation as a down-to-earth, relaxed and well-managed bar/restaurant.
