Frasca is just awesome. This was my second time there and it was as good (or better) then my first time. The service was superb - there were six of us at a table in the middle of the very crowded restaurant yet everyone disappeared into the background. We were there from 6:15 to 9:15 and didn't ever feel rushed. The food was spectacular - as good as any top tier place in NY or the bay area. I had:
- Olives spices almonds and cashews
- Frico (cheese crisp thing)
- Home made ricotta cheese and stewed spring rhubarb and toasted pistacios
- Salt butter poached hawaiian kampachi fish with oven roasted tomatoes, spring fava beans and cure organic farms sorrel salad
- Peanut butter cup dessert
I'm not a drinker, but everyone that was said the wines were great and well matched.
