A cute ice cream parlor in the west village where locals and celebrities stop by for a scoop.
The ice cream is high quality (read: expensive) and can easily run $6 to $7 for two scoops but it's worth it. Try before you buy as they'll allow you to sample only two (this was the policy last time I sttopped by). Some wonderful, tasty flavors.
It's not as healthy as tasti-d-lite claims to be but it tastes great and it's better to support a neighborhood shop than go to a chain.
There is some seating so if you don't feel like walking off the calories, sit down and watch the crowds go by.
