When we first relocated to Charleston, SC, we wanted to sample some genuine low country southern cooking and we couldn't have gone to a better place to do so. Although the restaurant itself is very tiny and cramped (and there is often a long wait), the food itself is well worth it. Their fried okra, fried green tomatoes, mashed potatoes, and other 'comfort' food were outstanding, and its' a great place to go to experience high quality southern food.
