I live in Queens yet I go all the way to Strong Island Barbers also known as Barber's Lounge because these guys are simply the best. They have from what I believe five barbers on hand and out of those five one of them is decent and three of them are AMAZING. The guys that I would recommend are "Fat Joe" , Remy and Dex (my barber). The cost for what I get which is a tape up, shape up and scissoring the top of my head is $12. I would recommend that you make an appointment with one of the barbers before going there because for the most part the top three are usually booked so you might have to wait a while.
