I think India's is a nice restaurant but it doesn't serve the best indian cuisine in Houston. Bombay Brasserie (on Richmond before post oak) has a much better selection of dishes and a better buffet. That said, the food at India's is good value and is nice. The atmosphere inside the reataurant is a bit strange (it's a little dark but not in a romantic way), which is why i have just given ita 'good' rating.
