Arinell Pizza. Located on Shattuck Avenue, theirs is the closest you'll get to real, thin-crust, New York-style pizza in Berkeley. The "fold factor"-the slice's ability to be folded over -convinced me that my days of deprivation were over. The slices are so thin and tasty that I can now eat as many slices as I used to back home . two . or five. And their pizza is made with no MSG or sugar, so even my diabetic grandmother can enjoy their savory slices. Arinell Pizza doesn't deliver, but if you want to get out of the Berkeley pizza bubble, its worth the trip.
