Had a damaged hard drive that I tried for DAYS to diagnose & recover data from. Then spent $150 at a different computer repair shop that also was unable to recover anything. So I walked into Data Recovery Systems...and luckily, I was the only customer in the office. John listened to my story...took the hard drive into their "recovery room" for a quick analysis...and indeed, also concluded that the drive was shot and no data was recoverable. BUT... he didn't charge me anything and gave some good tips on buying new hard drives. Definitely wasn't happy I'd lost the data, but was grateful for receiving his help, expertise and a definitive answer.
